The terrace of the National Museum of Fine Arts / La terraza del Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes

From the terrace of the National Museum of Fine Arts, you can get a nice view of the University of Buenos Aires' Law School and the Floralis Generica sculpture (on the left part of the second photo).

Desde la terraza del Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes, se puede apreciar la Facultad de Derecho de la Universidad de Buenos Aires y la escultura Floralis Generica.

Alejandro Sirio at the National Museum of Fine Arts / en el Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes

Last Sunday I visited the exhibition of graphic artist Alejandro Sirio at the National Museum of Fine Arts, on Del Libertador Ave. and Pueyrredón Ave. It’s really worth a visit.

Alejandro Sirio worked for Caras y Caretas, wrote and illustrated the book “De Palermo a Montparnasse” and created advertising posters, among other things.

El domingo pasado visité la muestra de Alejandro Sirio en el Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes, en la Av. Del Libertador y Av. Pueyrredón. Vale la pena verla. Este gran diseñador gráfico trabajó para la revista Caras y Caretas, escribió e ilustró el libro “De Palermo a Montparnasse” y realizó afiches publicitarios, entre otras cosas. También pueden ver material sobre murales subterráneos realizados por este artista aquí y aquí. La muestra permanecerá hasta el 2 de septiembre. Más info aquí y aquí.
