Del Libertador Avenue /Avenida

Del Libertador is one of the most beautiful avenues of Buenos Aires. I particularly recommend walking it from the Zoo until Recoleta. It’s about less than an hour walk at normal pace and with no stops. Along this stroll, you’ll notice the Museo de Arte Popular José Hernández, the National Museum of Decorative Arts, some Art Deco buildings, the National Library and a monument to Evita, among other special highlights. I’ll be posting more about these in the future.

La Avenida del Libertador es una de las más bellas de Buenos Aires. Recomiendo recorrerla desde el Zoológico hasta Recoleta. Es una caminata de menos de una hora a ritmo normal y sin paradas. A lo largo de esta caminata observarán el Museo de Arte Popular José Hernández, el Museo Nacional de Artes Decorativas, algunos edificios art decó, la Biblioteca Nacional y el monumento a Evita, entre otros puntos destacados. Recoleta in the 90's and now

Today I found this picture I took in Recoleta back in the 90's, before the Buenos Aires Design Mall were built. I must have taken it between 1990 and 1992. More info about this neighborhood here.


Hoy encontré esta foto que tomé en Recoleta en los años '90, antes de la construcción del Buenos Aires Design. La debo haber tomado entre el '9o y '92. Más info sobre este barrio aquí.
